Key Terms & Conditions
Here's a shortened list of our key terms and conditions for you to review. Be sure to read these in conjunction with our Full Terms and Conditions available to view & download below.
Driver's Licence
Everyone driving the vehicle must have a valid full NZ or overseas driving licence (translated into English if necessary). No minimum or maximum age restriction applies, no special class licences are required.
Key Insurance Exclusions
Regardless of the insurance option you choose with us (Bronze, Silver or Gold), you will not be covered for any loss if:

Damage is sustained due to vehicle rollover;

Damage is sustained to the vehicle underbody;

Damage is sustained to the vehicle overbody;

Damage is sustained above the windscreen/cab heights on vans, minibuses and trucks

Credit/Debit Card Required For Hire
Payment is to be made at the commencement of the rental by either cash, EFTPOS or debit/credit card. Regardless of the payment option selected, a valid credit or debit card in the name of the main Hirer needs to be provided.
Security Bond
When Bronze or Silver Cover is selected a NZ$500 security bond is required for all van and truck hires and is refundable on completion of the hire. The bond is held via a pre-authorisation on a valid credit card/debit card which must be in the main hirer’s name. If Gold Cover is selected, no bond is required.
If we are unable to place a pre-authorisation for the bond, a cash bond may be taken. Alternatively, Gold Cover can be taken to waive the bond requirement.
Cash security bond refunds will be processed within 21 working days following return of the vehicle.
Kilometre Charges
For hire vehicles that include per kilometre charges, these charges will be taken from the security bond upon return of the vehicle. We may take additional charges incurred (e.g. infringement fees) at the end of the hire period from the security bond.
Early Returns / Extensions
If the vehicle is returned early for any reason, there is no refund available for the unused portion of the hire.
Extensions are subject to vehicle availability. The daily rental rate for any extension will be the daily rental rate applicable at the time the extension is requested – i.e. the daily hire rate of your extension may be at a higher rate than your initial hire rate.
Additional Charges

Infringement Processing Fee - $50 per infringement (includes speeding/parking tickets, road tolls not paid etc). This cost covers our admin team's time transferring liability for the infringement to the hirer.

Cleaning Fee - $200. Vehicles are to be returned in a clean and tidy manner

Smoking Fee - $200. Smoking in, or near the vehicle is prohibited

Filling Fee - $25 (+ the cost of fuel). Vehicles are to be returned with a full tank of fuel.
Parking
Customer parking is only available for pick up and drop off at our depots. We do not provide parking for personal vehicles during your hire period.
